Apply to join the tiny producer incubator by Poike Productio!
We are looking for one or two freelance producers to develop their own projects with the support and guidance of Poike Productio.
The producer we are looking for is developing a work or an event production related to media art, artist film or creative cinema. During the incubation programme, the producer draws content, implementation, responsibility, communication and financing plans for their project. In addition, the producer receives support for designing the project’s visual materials.
We offer:
- producer Tuuli Penttinen-Lampisuo‘s sparring for the project’s development and planning;
- graphic designer Anne Virta‘s expertise in designing the project’s visual materials;
- a total project salary of 4,000 euros, budgeted for 1–2 producers, depending on the scope of the projects offered;
- support for a small study trip, for example to participate in a professional event;
- a sneak-peak to the productions of Poike Productio and its partners.
We require:
- a relevant degree in a creative field;
- an interesting project or work idea, possibly in collaboration with, for example, an artist, director or curator;
- commitment to our values to work art up, carbon down and internationally;
- passion to work as a producer!
Poike Productio is also open to applicants whose mother tongue is not Finnish.
The incubator programme takes 1–2 months, depending on the project under development.
In case the project developed during the incubator programme receives funding, we’ll draw up a contract for the continuation of the freelance producer’s work on the project at Poike Productio.
