Martha’s Crochet speaks to the beauty in the endless repetition of chores traditionally perceived as women’s work. Wearing a black dress, performance artist Helinä Hukkataival as Martha, refers to the biblical legend that questions whether a woman’s place is sitting and discussing, or serving others.
